what's nature?

A few weeks ago, for Memorial Day, we were invited hiking with some friends. We went along more for the company than the adventure. OK. I went along for the company. As we were walking Meg kept asking where we were going. I would explain that we were just walking, and enjoying nature. She pops up with this little gem and there is no denying she is mine girl.
"Mom, What's nature?"
We did have fun, and ended with a little Rudy's. It was a good day!
